As a Mechanical Engineer/Diploma Technician in the Mechanical field at our company located in Meempara, Puthencruz, Cochin, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Operating laser cutting and bending Machines efficiently. - Reading and working with mechanical drawings accurately. - Monitoring production processes, inspecting parts, and ensuring quality standards. - Maintaining machines and ensuring workshop safety measures are in place. To excel in this role, you are required to meet the following qualifications: - Mechanical Engineering graduate or Diploma in the mechanical field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in laser cutting and bending operations. - Preferably computer literate with knowledge of CAD/CAM. - Basic understanding of CNC operations and sheet metal. Moreover, it would be advantageous if you have the following skills: - Proficiency in identifying different grades of metals such as MS, SS, Aluminum, etc. - Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team effectively.
