Mechanical Engineer

As an Operator / Jr. Engineer / Engineer for Portable 3D Measurement in the Manufacturing industry located at Hazira, Surat, your main responsibilities will include: - Performing on-site measurements using portable 3D scanners, arms, laser trackers, and related software. - Analyzing measurement data and generating reports as per customer documentation requirements. - Creating and executing manual and automated inspection programs for portable 3D scanning and metrology instruments (CMM) using CAD and GD&T features. In addition, your role will involve engaging with customers to address technical queries effectively, providing technical support during installation, calibration, and measurement projects, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance measurement processes continuously. Qualifications required for this position include: - ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: - Fresher or up to 3 years of experience in: - 3D Scanning or Metrology Equipment - CAD / CAM / CAE Software - Industrial Automation Solutions Having hands-on experience or knowledge of these technologies will be a strong advantage. Key skills for this role include knowledge of 3D Scanning / CMM / Metrology Equipment, understanding of CAD/CAM/CAE Software, basic knowledge of GD&T, good communication & analytical skills, and willingness to travel for on-site projects.
