About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer – HVAC with 5–6 years of construction experience to lead and support HVAC design, installation, and commissioning activities across our projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage on-site mechanical works efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning activities on construction sites.
• Review and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Ensure all HVAC works comply with project standards, codes, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely execution.
• Perform material take-offs, prepare technical reports, and assist with project planning.
• Monitor site progress and address any technical issues promptly.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design requirements.
• Support project managers and senior engineers with mechanical-related tasks.

Requirements

• 5–6 years of HVAC/mechanical experience within the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or HVAC design software is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards.
