The role

We need an electronics engineer who can own the entire hardware stack and drive product decisions that define architecture, performance, and reliability. As the bot becomes more advanced, its structure must become more elegant, and we want you to demonstrate creativity in electronics to enhance the boards and the overall consumer experience.

What you’ll do

* End-to-end product design from prototype to production.

* Design for manufacturing as a priority, even during prototyping stages.

* Take responsibility for each iteration to minimize time and resource costs.

* Choose the right processes to scale quickly.

* Build a strong mechanical team and product.

* Decide the future of mechanical aspects along with the software and electronics teams.

* Design processes to accelerate new product lines.

You must have

* Familiarity with gears and drive trains.

* Experience in manufacturing processes and design.

* Experience with parametric design and CNC programming.

* Ability to lead design teams and collaborate with software and electronics teams for iterations.

* Ability to lead technical direction and provide guidance on development decisions.

Tools

Onshape Professional, scripting Onshape for custom features, hands-on prototyping, ability to think differently while maintaining manufacturability at scale, strong understanding of material physics and basic economics at scale.
