Who are you:

An ideal candidate has a sound knowledge of fabrication and different machining processes to develop special purpose machines and equipment, in this case cells and batteries and its components. Subsequently, the candidate must have a penchant for solving manufacturing problems.

Qualifications, education and/or experience:

·      B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical/ Production/ Additive Manufacturing

·      Strong Knowledge of fabrication techniques as well as GD&T is a must

·      Strong knowledge of sheet metal design

·      Strong knowledge of basic as well as advanced manufacturing processes

·      Proficient with Microsoft office suite

·      Must have inherent problem-solving skills

·      Strong communication skills

·      Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand processes related to cell fabrication and design suitable equipment

Supervise machine/equipment fabrication

Development of vendor base to optimize fabrication timelines

Supervise outsourced parts/machines/equipment fabrication
