Mechanical Design Engineer

Rakaal Enerfotech Pvt Ltd, located at UL CyberPark in Kozhikode Kerala, seeks a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative energy solutions team.

Job Overview

Contribute to cutting-edge designs in LV switchgear panels at a company specializing in comprehensive switchgear design services. This role involves 2-3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design drawing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed mechanical design drawings for LV switchgear panels, 

1.Design & Development:

Create mechanical designs for switchgear enclosures, busbars, and internal structures.

2.Develop detailed 2D/3D CAD models, general arrangement drawings, and manufacturing drawings (flat patterns, bend profiles).

3.Knowledge: Sheet metal operations, structural design, mechanical assembly, power distribution systems, industry standards. 

4.Software: AutoCAD, & Inventor.

Collaborate on engineering projects to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards.

​

Support production through accurate documentation and design iterations.

​

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

​

Proficiency in AutoCAD; AutoCAD Inventor or similar sheet metal design software preferred.

​

Strong knowledge of switchgear panel design and package substation mechanics.
