We are seeking an innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D/Product Development team. The role involves CAD modeling, simulation, and creating rugged, precision housing solutions for camera systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360)

- Apply GD&T for tolerance and assembly accuracy

- Design enclosures/brackets using plastics and sheet metal

- Conduct FEA (structural, thermal) to validate designs

- Lead prototyping (3D printing, CNC) and testing

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Minimum 1 year experience in CAD modeling, GD&T, and documentation

- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools

- Knowledge of plastics, sheet metal design, and simulations.

Preferred Skills:

- IoT/edge device or camera enclosure experience

- DFM/DFT knowledge

- Rapid prototyping exposure

- Awareness of IP65/MIL-STD standards
