Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Title - Design Engineer

Location: Pune (On-Campus)

Work Mode - Onsite

Target Start Date: 1 December 2025

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings, assembly drawings, and 3D models using

  Solid Edge

  .
• Revise and update existing models and drawings as required.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes to implement new designs using cost-effective and efficient methods.
• Maintain an organized database of drawings and transmitted documents.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify root causes and resolve component or product issues.
• Create or update

  Bills of Materials (BoM)

  for new and existing products.
• Select and apply appropriate materials, finishes, and weld procedures to designs.
• Coordinate with

  Project Management

  and

  Supply Chain

  teams to provide updates and clarifications.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

• Strong experience and knowledge of

  Solid Edge

  for creating CAD Part, Assembly, and Draft files.
• Sound knowledge of

  Teamcenter

  .
• Ability to acquire and utilize technical data from catalogs, the internet, and vendors for model and drawing creation.
• Proficiency in generating

  BoMs

  and maintaining organized data/relationships for models and drawing files.
• Good knowledge of

  stack-up and dimensional analysis (GD&T)

  .

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or related streams.

• Work Experience:

  2–4 years of relevant experience.
