Job description 1. Creation of 2D and 3D Models of machines and sub-assemblies 2. Actively participate in technical discussions with internal team and external Design experts. 3. Providing inputs for design development and improvement. 4. Design & drafting of part drawings. 5. Preparation of Bill Of Materials (BOM) related to machines. 6. Preparing machine manuals & Technical write ups/ reports/ presentations. 7. Coordinating with production and QC/QA teams. 8. Design documentation and reporting. Qualifications: 1. Educational Qualification: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2. Hands on experience in design of Heavy Machinery, Special Purpose Machinery (SPM), Machine Design, GD&T, Design & development, and strength of materials. 3. Minimum industry experience: 3-5 years 4. Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 5. Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design 6. Strong knowledge of machining symbols and international standards for Design & drafting 7. Good knowledge in material selection and treatments 8. Proficient verbal and communication skills Show more Show less
