Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Perform design calculations, material selection, and tolerance analysis.
• Modify and improve existing products for better performance, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Create detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure document control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — production, purchase, and quality — to finalize designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design validation through simulation and prototype testing.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, performance, and industry standards.
• Support new product development (NPD) from concept to final production.
• Review customer requirements and prepare technical specifications and drawings accordingly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma, B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 2–3 years in mechanical design or product development.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience (Optional):

• Experience with machine design, automotive components, or industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
• Exposure to ISO/ASME standards and manufacturing processes.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
