Role Responsibilities Evaluate and assess patients requiring anesthesia for surgical procedures. Administer anesthesia effectively and manage patient sedation levels. Monitor patients' vital signs and manage complications during surgery. Work in collaboration with surgeons, surgical team, and nursing staff. Provide pre-operative counseling to patients and their families. Document all anesthesia care and patient responses accurately. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols. Participate in educational programs for staff and medical training. Develop and implement pain management strategies for post-surgical patients. Manage patient flow in the operating room efficiently. Conduct follow-ups for optimal postoperative recovery. Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in anesthesia. Collaborate in research activities and clinical trials when applicable. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Contribute to the development of departmental protocols and guidelines. Qualifications MBBS degree from a recognized institution. MD DNB in Anesthesia is mandatory. Valid medical license to practice in India. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medication. Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to continuous professional development. Knowledge of current guidelines and best practices in anesthesia. Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health records. Capability to handle emergency situations effectively. Dedication to patient care and safety. Willingness to adapt to changing environments and responsibilities.
