Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Matron / Nursing Head to lead our nursing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities, excellent knowledge of nursing processes and protocols, and in-depth understanding of NABH documentation and training requirements. The candidate must demonstrate a commanding personality and the ability to effectively manage nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the overall functioning of the nursing department.Ensure strict compliance with nursing processes, protocols, and clinical standards.Oversee NABH documentation and ensure readiness for audits at all times.Plan and conduct NABH-related trainings for nursing and paramedical staff.Maintain discipline, accountability, and professional conduct within the nursing workforce.Allocate duties, prepare rosters, and ensure adequate staffing in all shifts.Monitor and evaluate nursing performance and provide continuous professional guidance.Collaborate with hospital management, doctors, and other departments for smooth patient care delivery.Address patient and staff grievances promptly and professionally.Ensure infection control measures, patient safety protocols, and emergency preparedness are in place.

Qualifications & Experience

B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing (mandatory).Minimum 10–15 years of nursing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior supervisory role (Matron / Nursing Head / Nursing Superintendent).In-depth knowledge of NABH standards, documentation, and training modules.Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.Ability to handle high-pressure situations with confidence.
