Material Planning - Executive/Sr. Executive

As a Material Planning - Executive/Sr. Executive at Schindler India, your main responsibilities include: - Ensuring continuity of material supply to Production and aiming for Zero Line Stoppage. - Managing deliveries from suppliers and releasing purchase orders to schedule the supply of materials as per monthly production plan. - Minimizing risks and impact on production schedule by ensuring timely delivery of the right products in a cost-effective manner. - Taking necessary actions to address material shortages affecting production schedules. - Planning, developing, and evaluating processes for material delivery from suppliers. - Monitoring on-time delivery (OTD) of Suppliers and collaborating with sourcing lead to create improvement plans. - Implementing engineering changes to minimize obsolete stock and reduce business liability. - Participating in development plans, testing SAP updates, and ensuring processes meet standards and targets. - Monitoring supplier performance in coordination with the Quality Dept. and attending relevant meetings as required. - Undertaking any other duties within your competence as assigned by the Head of Unit.
