Master Planner

As an experienced Urban Designer with a minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience, you will be responsible for working on medium to large-scale urban or suburban housing design and master planning projects. Your primary qualifications include a Graduation/Post Graduation in Urban Design or equivalent subject with an Architectural background. Your role will involve leading high-quality urban design and master planning projects from idea to detailed design, covering sectors such as residential, mixed-use, and urban regeneration projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the production of high-quality urban design and master planning projects. - Support in preparing technical bids and fee proposals for master planning and urban design projects. - Manage master planning projects involving multi-disciplinary teams. - Develop and maintain client relationships by attending meetings, workshops, and seminars. - Create three-dimensional visualizations with construction elements. - Produce designs, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings for construction. - Research, imagine, and confidently present design solutions for medium to large-scale masterplans. - Generate 3D and 2D modeling, technical drawings, analysis, diagrams, and illustrative materials. - Prepare presentations, reports, background planning, and site analysis. - Proactively propose design-led solutions and prepare planning documents such as Design Briefs and Access Statements. Qualifications Required: - Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic skills. - Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and quality standards. - Excellent drawing skills and proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketch-Up, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, and Revit. - Strong imagination, three-dimensional thinking, visual awareness, and attention to detail. - Communication skills, project management abilities, knowledge of design trends, and budgeting skills. - Client-focused with strong written and spoken communication skills.
