Master Planner

You should possess a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience working on medium to large-scale urban or suburban housing design and master planning projects. Your educational background should include a Graduation/Post Graduation in Urban Design or equivalent subject with an Architectural background. As a candidate for this position, you will be required to work on large-scale urban design and master planning projects of varying complexity from conceptualization to detailed design. Your responsibilities will include leading the production of high-quality urban design and master planning projects, supporting in the preparation of technical bids and fee proposals, project management, developing relationships with clients, and attending meetings, workshops, and seminars. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing standard specifications for construction finishes, creating three-dimensional visualizations, producing designs, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings, and imagining and confidently presenting design solutions. Additionally, you will produce 3D and 2D modeling, technical drawings, analysis, diagrams, illustrative materials, presentations, and reports. Your role will involve researching, mapping, and analyzing projects, contributing to the design of places from concept through planning, preparing background planning and site analysis, and proposing design-led solutions to problems. You will also be responsible for preparing high-quality planning documents and site plans, as well as report writing. Requirements for this position include a strong portfolio demonstrating artistic skills, expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and quality standards, excellent drawing skills, and familiarity with design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketch-Up, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, and Revit. Strong imagination, visual awareness, eye for detail, communication skills, project management skills, knowledge of design trends and styles, budgeting skills, client focus, and strong written and spoken communication skills are also essential.,
