PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
To assist withtheaccount maintenance, expansion,optimization,andcommunication of online marketplaceinitiativesin alignment with established sales and profit goals.
Major Areas Of Accountability
- Maximizes product listing counts and content across all marketplaces to increase topline revenue and conversion opportunity. Plays a strategic role in managing marketplace relationships and understanding marketplace-specific algorithms.
- Monitors key marketplace integration points and assists withmonitoringall aspects of performance ratings across multiple online marketplaces including, but not limited to, overall store ratings, cancellation rates, late shipment rates, on-time delivery rates, valid tracking numbers and policy violationsin order tomaintain a positive selling partnership.
- Performsbasicreportingofmarketplace data. Provides routine and ad-hocmaintenancefor marketplace channels and aids other teams/ departments as needed in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Optimizesand maintainsproduct content including images, titles, descriptions, videos,enhanced content,and categorization to maximize the exposure and conversion impact for each product listing within every marketplace account. Recommends actions based on data insights and performance metrics, insights and trend analysis
- Reviewsdetailed revenue, expense and product level reportingto identify positive or negative trends and respond accordingly. More involvement in testing and implementing new content strategies across platforms
- Enhances the onsite advertising opportunities within each marketplace to gain additional exposure for select products in areas reserved for featured sellers. Manage budget allocation, targeting strategy, and adjusting bids and keywords based on performance data.
- Key role in coordinating promotional activities for product launches or sales events (e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday) across marketplaces. Lead the development and execution of promotional strategies, including sponsored products, deals, and ads within the marketplace, to ensure optimal exposure.
- Researches and assists with implementation of new marketplace expansionsto gain additional exposure and sale of marketable products at an acceptable advertising rate. Expand to advising teams on best practices in content that improves conversion rates.
- Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems,and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate,to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising or related field.
- 3-5yearsof experience in onlinemarketing preferred.
- Previous experience working with Amazon,ebayand Channel Advisorpreferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety ofinternal and external audiences.
- Ability to work closely with others to coordinate projects involving multiple parties.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to define promotions, collect data, establish factsand draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, be attentive to detail, work independently and prioritize work.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of skill in grammar, punctuation, spelling and motivational language appropriate to the position.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word,PowerBIand the Internet.
