Marketing Specialist

As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders with vendors, ensuring product pricing updates and effective follow-up. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare purchase orders based on sales orders, inventory stock requirements, and miscellaneous requisition requests. - Process all purchase orders efficiently by entering them into the system, forwarding them to the vendor, and verifying vendor acknowledgments. - Follow up on orders, including monitoring delivery dates, quantities shipped, and prices charged. - Update product pricing in the system as needed. - Maintain positive relationships with vendors. - Serve as an information source for internal queries related to purchased items. - Assist with or manage special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required: - MBA degree. - 1-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement.
