Job Description

Role & responsibilities

RFQ & Quotation Management

  • Receive, review, and manage RFQs from global customers.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, costing, and quality teams to prepare accurate quotations.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial offers within deadlines.
  • Track quotation status and follow up with customers for approval or clarification.

Global Customer Development

  • Identify new international customers for railway, oil & gas, nuclear, and windmill castings.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the companys global footprint.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with overseas customers, distributors, EPC contractors, and OEMs.

Order Acquisition & Project Coordination

  • Follow up on quotations and negotiations to convert leads into confirmed orders.
  • Coordinate between internal departments to ensure customer requirements are communicated clearly.
  • Support customers during sampling, prototype development, and approval processes.

Meetings & Internal Reviews

  • Participate in weekly sales and production review meetings.
  • Provide updates on RFQs, quotations, new business opportunities, and order pipelines.
  • Analyze trends, customer feedback, and competition to support management decisions.

Customer Visits & International Travel

  • Travel to customer sites for technical discussions, audits, commercial negotiations, and relationship building.
  • Attend international trade shows, industry exhibitions, and business delegation meetings.

Market & Industry Research

  • Monitor global casting industry trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights into market demands across railway, oil & gas, nuclear, and renewable energy sectors.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • MBA preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing or business development of cast iron/ductile iron castings.
  • Experience dealing with overseas customers or international markets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of foundry processes, cast iron grades, and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in RFQ handling, costing interfaces, and quotation preparation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Strong customer orientation and market development mindset.
