Key Responsibilities

1. Product and Portfolio Management

• Act as the

  technical and commercial expert

  for the entire Additive Masterbatch portfolio.
• Define the product roadmap, pricing strategy, and positioning for different additive groups based on industry application (e.g., films, fibers, packaging, agricultural, pipe).
• Conduct continuous

  market and competitive analysis

  specifically focused on additive technology trends, regulatory changes (e.g., food contact, health standards), and competitive product performance.
• Work with R&D to define specifications for new AMBs and optimize existing formulations based on market feedback and customer performance requirements.

2. Technical Sales and Business Development

• Drive sales growth by providing

  advanced technical support

  to the domestic and export sales teams.
• Engage directly with key customers and converters to understand their specific

  polymer processing challenges

  and recommend the appropriate additive solution (e.g., recommending a specific UV package for greenhouse film or an antioxidant blend for automotive components).
• Develop

  technical presentations, case studies, and application notes

  demonstrating the performance benefits and cost-in-use advantages of Sudarsshan's AMBs.
• Identify and target high-value applications and industries that are dependent on specialized additives for performance enhancement.

3. Marketing Strategy and Promotion

• Develop and implement targeted

  marketing campaigns

  to promote the technical efficacy and value proposition of AMBs to technical buyers, R&D heads, and production managers.
• Plan and execute participation in relevant trade shows, technical seminars, and industry forums (e.g., PlastIndia, K-Show) focused on polymer processing and additive technologies.
• Create technical content (articles, white papers, digital collateral) that educates the market on the critical function of various AMBs.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Quality

• Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to ensure the consistent manufacturing and quality control of high-performance additive products.
• Ensure all product documentation (TDS, MSDS, regulatory compliance certificates like FDA, RoHS, REACH) is accurately maintained and supplied to customers.
• Collaborate with the commercial teams on sales forecasting, inventory planning, and order management for the AMB business unit.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in

  Polymer Science, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering

  , or a related technical field. A business qualification (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.

• Experience:

  Minimum 12

  years

  of experience in technical marketing, product management, or technical sales within the

  Masterbatch, Additive, or Specialty Polymer/Chemical industry

  .

• Domain Expertise:

  Proven, in-depth technical knowledge of the mechanism, application, and formulation of various

  Polymer Additives

  and their effect on different plastic processing technologies (e.g., film extrusion, injection molding, blow molding).

  Exceptional ability to translate complex chemical and technical data into clear, compelling commercial value propositions.

  Strong skills in competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and technical problem-solving.
