Job Description

  • Strategic R&D Leadership:

    Develop and implement the R&D strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives. Identify and prioritize research projects that will give the company a competitive advantage.

  • Product Development:

    Lead the development of new PP and engineering polymer compounds and masterbatches from lab-scale trials to full-scale commercial production. This includes formulating recipes, selecting raw materials and additives, and optimizing processing parameters.

  • Team Management:

    Lead, mentor, and manage a team of R&D chemists, engineers, and technicians. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Technical Support and Collaboration:

    Provide technical support to the sales, marketing, and production teams. Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop custom-tailored solutions.

  • Quality and Compliance:

    Ensure all R&D activities and products comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM), quality control protocols, and safety regulations.

  • Project Management:

    Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of R&D projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Market and Technology Awareness:

    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to guide research initiatives.
