Job Title: Marketing Executive

Location: Golden Palace International Convention Centre (GPICC)
Department: Marketing & Business Development
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, result-driven Marketing Executive to join our leading Event Management and Convention Centre team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our venue, driving event bookings, managing client relationships, and implementing effective marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:Marketing & Promotion

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote events, banquet halls, wedding venues, and convention facilities.
  • Create social media content, reels, posts, and manage brand presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and other digital channels.
  • Coordinate with the Media/Design team for promotional materials, brochures, banners, and advertisements.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.

Business Development

  • Generate leads through market visits, client meetings, telemarketing, and networking.
  • Maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding planners, caterers, and vendors.
  • Present venue packages, event solutions, and offers to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and follow up on proposals, quotations, and contracts.

Client Handling

  • Attend inquiries from walk-ins, calls, and messages related to event bookings.
  • Conduct site visits and provide guided tours of facilities to clients.
  • Coordinate with operations and event teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

Event Coordination Support

  • Assist the team during events for client handover and coordination.
  • Support in managing pre-event preparations and documentation.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily marketing activity reports.
  • Track leads, conversions, and monthly business targets.
  • Prepare marketing MIS reports for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing (experience in event management/hospitality preferred).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media promotions, and branding activities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Customer-first mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
