Job Description

**Role Overview:** As a Sales Associate at Marriott International, your primary responsibility is to promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally. You will use effective sales techniques to maximize revenue while also ensuring the retention of existing guest loyalty. Your role will involve communicating with potential owners via telephone to arrange preview package sales/tours and encouraging them to purchase or schedule these tours. Additionally, you will be responsible for explaining the details and requirements of attending a sales presentation to potential owners and ensuring that they meet eligibility criteria for the tours. Furthermore, you will be tasked with providing complimentaries to guests as tokens of appreciation for their patronage and supporting the Sales & Marketing team with general office duties. **Key Responsibilities:** - Promote brand image internally and externally - Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty - Communicate with potential owners via telephone to arrange preview package sales/tours - Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours - Explain details and requirements related to attending a sales presentation - Verify eligibility requirements for preview package sales/tours - Provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage - Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing - Receive, record, and relay messages accurately - Assist in training, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees - Follow company policies and procedures - Maintain a clean, professional appearance - Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards - Develop and maintain positive working relationships - Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards - Perform other reasonable job duties as requested **Qualifications Required:** - Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience - Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required - License or Certification: None At Marriott International, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment where all associates are valued and celebrated.
