Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary:

This role focuses on assisting, preparing, and coordinating marketing activities which belong to the Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team on European level at LKQ Europe.

Essential Job Duties:

• Dealing with merchandising will be one of the key requirements to that role. Establish network at supplier but also with regions and/or relevant people. This contains administration but also small projects within the world of European merchandising requirement. 
• Assist in maintaining processes, workflows, and tools to organize European and regional activities (i.e. via marketing tools for campaign management, collaboration within a matrix, etc.) 
• Assist in report on projects, campaigns and event milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues 
• In some cases, regular exchange and interaction with regional and cross-functional teams will be required, so there is a need in establish and maintain some important contacts across Europe. 
• Based on conversations identify best practices within regional marketing and summarize and share with European team 
• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of activities 
• Assist in meeting minutes” of meetings and distribute 
• Support marketing manager in organizing various projects 
• Creating content or a briefing, if required, for a project 
• Preparing and creating presentations, detailed and visually appealing graphs 
• Assist with promotional activities 
• Liaising with colleagues and external agencies 
• Gathering data on campaign success, often through collecting audience feedback 
• First checks on the design and graphics of marketing materials 
• Communicate directly with mainly internal colleagues and encourage trusting relationships

Education & Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience of relevant Industry
• MBA/B. Com/BBA specialize in Marketing. 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with others in a geographically dispersed environment.
• Interest in the Global Automotive Industry (experience preferred)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong understanding of marketing, including planning for both structured and ad hoc needs.
• Experience in product and service marketing within the automotive aftermarket (or a similar channel-driven industry) is highly valuable to grasp European-level requirements and ways of working.
• Strong written and verbal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders; ability to communicate clearly with the line manager.
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, organizing details, and meeting deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, including data integration and visualization capabilities.
• Able to research, analyze, and report marketing campaign results, presenting data in a clear and accessible manner.
• Comfortable working remotely with a high level of motivation, organization, and customer-oriented mindset.
• A creative approach is a plus, though not essential.
• Quick learner, able to understand requirements and work with online applications (e.g., Wrike and in-house project management tool).
• Proficient in MS Office and marketing-related software; solid understanding of office management and marketing principles.
