Marketing Cloud Intelligence Developer (Datorama Developer)

Role Summary

As a Marketing Cloud Intelligence Developer, you will be the technical owner of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) platform. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, interactive dashboards, and automated reporting solutions. Your work will empower marketing, sales, and leadership teams to make faster, data-informed decisions by providing a unified view of marketing performance across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Management & Development:

• Architect and administer the Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) environment, including user management, security, and data source connections.
• Design and implement complex data models to unify data from disparate sources (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, CRM platforms like Salesforce, email marketing platforms, programmatic ads, etc.).
• Develop and automate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate and timely data flow into the platform.
• Build, customize, and maintain a suite of interactive, visually compelling dashboards and reports for various business stakeholders.

2. Data Integration & Engineering:

• Connect to a wide variety of data sources using APIs, FTP, cloud storage, and native connectors.
• Write and optimize custom SQL queries and scripts for data transformation and manipulation within the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, pipeline failures, and performance issues.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all marketing reporting.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy:

• Partner with marketing channel owners, data analysts, and business leaders to gather requirements and translate business questions into technical solutions.
• Train and enable non-technical users to self-serve and interpret dashboards effectively.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting efficiency, and KPI tracking.
• Stay current with new features and best practices for the Marketing Cloud Intelligence platform and the broader MarTech landscape.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 4+ years

  of hands-on experience as a developer or administrator with

  Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama)

• Ready to work at Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai
• Can join within 15 days
• Ready for CTC of max INR 25 Lakh Anually
• Proven expertise in building data pipelines, configuring data sources, and creating complex dashboards within the platform.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, channels (Paid Social, SEM, SEO, Email, etc.), and standard KPIs (ROAS, CPL, LTV, Attribution).
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  for data querying and transformation.
• Experience working with APIs for data ingestion (RESTful APIs).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence Certification.
• Experience with other components of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Advertising Studio).
• Knowledge of additional data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
• Familiarity with a scripting language such as Python or JavaScript for advanced automation.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with CRM data, particularly Salesforce Sales Cloud.
