Sr. Linux Reliability Engineer (C2H - Pune)

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborating with cross functional teams and stakeholders to understand business needs, identify requirements gaps or issues Maintain the health, reliability, and security of Linux operating systems Analyze system performance data and proactively identify potential issues Implement solutions to ensure optimal performance Define metrics for monitors and optimize operating system performance Diagnose and correct monitoring policy failures Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation Serve as an escalation point for major incidents within the RUN team and provide Level 3 operations support Coordinate and lead cross-functional initiatives and projects Ingest new technologies, write documentation, and perform ingestion validation duties Utilize scripting for system management and automation Ensure Operating Systems comply with organizations standards Experience & Educational Requirements: BE/ B Tech, MCA/BCA with 8+ years of relevant IT work experience in Linux OS Architecture, RHEL, SUSE Relevant certification is required Experience in Linux OS architecture. Strong experience with writing Puppet code, AWX, RHEL SUSE Oracle Linux is a requirement to be successful in this role.
