Job Summary/Overview Kia Kaha MMA is seeking a highly creative, proactive, and results-oriented Marketing Associate to significantly enhance our brand image, presence, and community engagement, both online and offline. This role is perfect for a marketing professional who is passionate about health and fitness and thrives on generating innovative ideas, leading impactful campaigns, and building strong brand connections. You'll be instrumental in elevating Kia Kaha MMA's profile, attracting new members, and fostering a strong, positive brand reputation through imaginative and effective marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities Brand & Content Strategy : Serve as the guardian of the Kia Kaha MMA brand, ensuring consistency and high quality across all marketing materials. Provide creative direction and guidance to our dedicated videographer, and performance manage them, to conceptualize and produce visually stunning, professional, and engaging video content for our social media platforms. Public Relations & Event Management : Lead all PR efforts and take ownership of organizing and executing a variety of events. This involves comprehensive planning, coordination, promotion, and execution to maximize brand visibility and positive public perception. Community Outreach & Demonstrations : Proactively engage with external organizations, including colleges, schools, and corporate entities. Conduct engaging demonstrations (e.g., mini-workshops, basic technique showcases) to generate leads, build strategic partnerships, and increase brand awareness. Creative Campaign Development : Generate innovative and impactful ideas for marketing campaigns, events, and content that effectively stand out in a competitive market. Performance Measurement: Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: Proven experience in a marketing role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative campaigns and initiatives. Demonstrated experience in event management, from planning to execution. Exceptional creativity and a proven ability to generate innovative ideas. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective PR and community outreach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English and local languages (Kannada, Hindi) is highly desirable for effective community engagement. Knowledge of marketing automation workflows (Zapier, Make).' Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the fitness or sports industry. Proficiency in managing email marketing campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives. Experience managing small video teams or influencers endtoend. Basic motiongraphics skills (CapCut, AfterEffects). Familiarity with video content creation workflows and providing creative direction to videographers. Skills & Attributes Highly Creative: Consistently generates fresh, original, and impactful ideas.
