Job Description

Role & responsibilities

promoting and selling the company's aftermarket products to automotive parts dealers, retailers, and distributors in a specific region

Key roles and responsibilitiesSales and relationship management

Promote and sell products
: Actively promote the full range of Brakes India's products to dealers and other channel partners.
Dealer visits
: Cover the designated sales territory and meet with a specific number of dealers, typically 1015 per day.
Build relationships
: Foster positive and lasting relationships with dealers, retailers, and distributors in the territory.
Push new product sales
: Emphasize and drive sales of new products introduced by the company.

Product knowledge and order processing

Product expertise
: Gain and maintain in-depth product knowledge across all of Brakes India's product segments.
Process orders
: Process orders from dealers, often using a dedicated mobile application.
Number recall
: Quickly learn and recall product part numbers for efficient order processing.

Reporting and performance

Achieve sales targets
: Focus on meeting and exceeding set sales targets for key products.
Timely reporting
: Provide timely updates and reports on sales activities and territory performance to a supervisor, typically a Field Parts Engineer.

Territory and communication

Territory coverage
: Manage and cover the assigned sales territory from a base location.
Local language proficiency
: Communicate effectively with dealers and distributors, often requiring familiarity with the local language.
