Market Researcher – Energy

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Researcher to join our team in the Energy & Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience conducting market research and analysis, with a strong background in the chemicals and materials industry.

• Conduct primary interviews with industry sources to gather information on market trends and competitor activity.
• Analyze and interpret findings from primary research to identify key insights and recommendations.
• Write syndicated reports and client presentations to communicate research results to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain databases to track market data and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into business strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in the Energy & Oil & Gas sector.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, capable of presenting complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with market research methodologies, including primary and secondary research techniques.
• Strong understanding of the Energy & Oil & Gas sector, including industry trends and regulations.
• Proficiency in database management and data analysis tools.
• Preferred candidates possess experience in value-added chemicals (fine and specialties), polymers and plastics, biocides, excipients, and electronic materials. For the Energy practice, experience in downstream heavy specialty products is preferred though not necessary.
