Job description: To ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of assigned vessels in accordance with international regulations, industry best practices, and company policies. The Marine Superintendent serves as the key shore-based point of contact for the vessels Master and crew Key Responsibilities: Oversee the safe and efficient operation of Container / Bulk Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Conduct vessel inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Provide guidance and support to vessel crews, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism. Monitor vessel performance and efficiency, implementing measures to optimize operations. Coordinate with shore-based teams, including engineering, logistics, and commercial departments, to ensure seamless operations. Respond to emergencies and incidents, implementing contingency plans and coordinating with relevant authorities. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vessel operations and regulatory compliance. Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices, recommending updates to procedures and protocols as necessary. Required Candidate profile: Must have sailed as Master on Container / Bulk Conduct regular ship inspections to ensure compliance to the statutory requirements of ISM & ISPS codes. responsible for conducting pre-vetting inspection on board the ship & follow-up.Master Mariner preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in marine operations, with specific experience in LNG vessels. Strong understanding of container / Bulk including cargo handling, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to travel as needed Perks and benefits: Bonus.
