Marine Service Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle electrical inspection, testing, and compliance activities for vessel conversion job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and complete Inspection & Test Records (ITRs) for vessel conversion activities.
• Prepare accurate test records, reports, and certification documents.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Perform cable identification and labeling as per approved drawings and standards.
• Carry out Megger (insulation resistance) testing for power, control, and instrumentation cables.
• Verify cable routing, termination, and continuity.
• Prior experience in testing and certification of ACB, VCB, HIMAP / Power Management & Protection Systems, and Control valves and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and rectify issues identified during testing and inspections.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with marine safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.
• Follow electrical safety procedures during live and dead testing.
• Support commissioning and handover activities.

Preferred Skills (Advantage):

• Previous experience working onboard LNG/LPG or tanker, or offshore vessels.
• Exposure to power management systems and protection relays.

Eligibility Criteria

• ITI or Diploma in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role within marine, offshore, or industrial projects.
• Hands-on experience in electrical testing, inspection, and documentation activities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in onboard vessels, shipyards, and offshore environments as required.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
