*Job Title:* Marine Claim Handler *Location:* Delhi only *Job Summary:* We are seeking an experienced Marine Claim Handler to join our claims team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling marine-related claims in a timely and professional manner. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. *Claim Investigation*: Investigate marine-related claims, including reviewing documentation, interviewing witnesses, and inspecting damaged property. 2. *Claim Evaluation*: Evaluate the merits of each claim, determining liability, quantum, and coverage. 3. *Claim Settlement*: Negotiate and settle claims with insureds, claimants, and other stakeholders. 4. *Communication*: Communicate effectively with insureds, brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure prompt and fair resolution of claims. 5. *Compliance*: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. 6. *Data Management*: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims, including documentation, correspondence, and settlement details. 7. *Collaboration*: Collaborate with underwriters, risk engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks. *Requirements:* 1. *Education*: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as maritime law, insurance, or business. 2. *Experience*: Minimum 5+years of experience in marine claims handling or a related field. 3. *Knowledge*: Strong knowledge of marine insurance policies, including coverage, exclusions, and conditions. 4. *Skills*: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. *Nice to Have:* 1. *Marine Industry Knowledge*: Familiarity with the marine industry, including shipping, logistics, and port operations. 2. *Language Skills*: Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly those relevant to international trade and commerce. 3. *Data Analysis*: Basic data analysis skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools. *What We Offer:* 1. *Competitive Salary*: A competitive salary and benefits package. 2. *Professional Development*: Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company. 3. *Dynamic Work Environment*: A dynamic and supportive work environment with a team of experienced professionals.
