Manufacturing Excellence

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist at our company, your role involves identifying and delivering service improvement activities across the business by utilizing process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders and the multi-jurisdictional Centre of Excellence to establish a continuous improvement environment supporting manufacturing transformation and facilitating WCM practices. Your responsibilities will include driving better value and efficiency through the elimination of unnecessary complexity in business processes, implementing a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy, and taking ownership of change initiatives from identification to project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Implementing the standard world-class manufacturing framework across pan-India plants - Collaborating with team members and business services departments to develop new support materials based on revised processes - Proactively monitoring project risks, identifying potential problems, and offering solutions in advance - Identifying and managing business impact, project objectives, and dependencies - Setting up programs, providing coaching, and managing projects across plants - Conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and identify areas for improvement - Improving efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites continuously - Implementing lean methods to enhance efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence - Supporting plant teams in benchmarking, solutions, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs - Assisting in the design, development, and implementation of policy deployment within the business - Conducting risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department - Ensuring ongoing learning and development of employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods - Coaching and facilitating teams and individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities - Managing cross-functional team members effectively - Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with various stakeholders Additional Advantageous Skill Sets: - Possessing a good honors degree in a relevant engineering discipline - Demonstrating an excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts such as Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping - Having strong analytical, project management, and product management skills - Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint - Experience in setting up, facilitating, and leading service improvement workshops with diverse business stakeholders - Experience in designing or implementing a framework for continuous improvement - Hands-on experience in implementing continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within our organization.,
