Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing manual testing of web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring a high level of product quality before release. Key Responsibilities: Understand business requirements and functional specifications. Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts manually. Perform different types of testing including Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT, and Smoke testing. Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues. Prepare test data and conduct database testing using SQL queries. Report testing progress and results to stakeholders. Work closely with the automation team to identify areas for automation. Required Skills:Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. Good knowledge of test case design techniques. Hands-on experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Basic knowledge of database and SQL. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication. Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience in testing web-based and mobile applications. Exposure to API testing tools like Postman. Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium is a plus.
