Job Title: Manual Test Engineer - Intern Location: Sector - 74, Mohali Duration: 6 months Department: Quality Assurance / Engineering Reports To: QA Lead / Test Manager About the Role: We are looking for a motivated Manual Test Engineer Intern to join our QA team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in software testing processes and help ensure the quality and functionality of our applications by executing test cases and identifying bugs. Key Responsibilities: Understand project requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Design, document, and execute test cases for web, mobile, or desktop applications. Report bugs clearly and concisely with proper steps to reproduce. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand features and resolve issues. Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing. Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings (Agile environment). Assist in maintaining test documentation and logs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC). Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Nice to Have: Knowledge of basic SQL for database validation. Exposure to web or mobile testing. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
