Manual Test Engineer Intern

As a Manual Test Engineer Intern at our company in Sector - 74, Mohali, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and functionality of our applications by executing test cases, identifying bugs, and reporting them clearly and concisely. Understanding project requirements and translating them into test scenarios will be a key part of your role. You will be required to design, document, and execute test cases for various applications such as web, mobile, or desktop. Working closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders, you will participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings in an Agile environment. To excel in this role, you should currently be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC) is essential. Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and good verbal and written communication skills are also required. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar is a plus. Moreover, knowledge of basic SQL for database validation, exposure to web or mobile testing, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies would be advantageous. You will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment while assisting in maintaining test documentation and logs.
