Manual Test Engineer Intern

As a Manual Test Engineer Intern at our company based in Sector - 74, Mohali, you will be an integral part of our Quality Assurance team for a duration of 6 months. Your role will involve gaining hands-on experience in software testing processes, ensuring the quality and functionality of applications, and identifying bugs through the execution of test cases. Key Responsibilities: - Understand project requirements and convert them into test scenarios. - Develop, document, and conduct test cases for various applications such as web, mobile, or desktop. - Clearly report identified bugs with detailed steps for reproduction. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to comprehend features and address issues effectively. - Engage in regression, functional, and exploratory testing. - Take part in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions within an Agile environment. - Aid in the upkeep of test documentation and logs. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field degree program. - Basic grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC). - Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical abilities. - Proficient verbal and written communication skills. - Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms is advantageous. - Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Nice to Have: - Understanding of basic SQL for database validation. - Exposure to web or mobile testing. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
