Job Title: Managing Director India & South Asia

Location: India (Metro scientific hubs preferred)

Reporting To: Chief Commercial Officer (Global, UK)

Industry: Scientific Publishing / Chemical Sciences / Research & Education Ecosystem

About the Role

Company is seeking a senior leader to lead and transform its India & South Asia operations. The role requires strong leadership, commercial delivery, scientific ecosystem understanding, and the ability to work with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the regional team with clear performance metrics.
• Strengthen governance, compliance and financial discipline.
• Drive growth across publishing, partnerships, membership, and institutional engagement.
• Represent Company with credibility across academia, government, scientific bodies, and industry

stakeholders.

• Work closely with global leadership (UK) to align regional and global strategy.

Required Experience & Background

Leadership experience at a senior or regional level

Experience in turnaround / organisational improvement

Proven track record in revenue or measurable impact delivery

Strong engagement with scientific/chemistry research ecosystem (mandatory)

Experience working with international stakeholders or global reporting structures

Education

• Master’s / PhD in Chemistry preferred
• Candidates with Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Life Sciences or related research

background may also be considered if they have strong ecosystem credibility.
