Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategic business development plans aligned with the company's vision.
  • Identify and evaluate new market segments, products, and services for sustainable growth.
  • Lead market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to generate actionable insights.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with utilities, generators, large consumers, traders, government bodies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Drive onboarding of high-value participants and explore partnerships for new market instruments (e.g., RECs, GNA, derivatives).
  • Represent HPX at industry forums, conferences and meetings to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks for prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Operations, IT, Legal, Marketing) to ensure smooth implementation of business initiatives.
  • Track and report KPIs, prepare management updates, and ensure timely achievement of business targets.
  • Conduct risk management and impact assessment of regulatory/policy changes on business operations.
  • Regulatory advocacy with central/state bodies (CERC, SERCs, MNRE, MoP, SECI, NITI Aayog, etc.) on power sector reforms and policies.
