Manager - Trading Operations

Job Purpose

Ensuring that Exchange Trading operations i.e.

• Daily activities related to Trading system master maintenance pertaining to sessions timings and contracts
• Member / User / CTCL and UCC master maintenance
• Monitor Start of Day and End of Day activities related to processing and report backup, generation of report, publishing report on website
• Monitoring trade activities and margin of members to ensure that all are operating within the norms.
• Monitoring Live trading related price bands, Self Trades, Trade Modification, Trade Cancellation etc.

Key Result Areas

• Setting up departmental process for Equity and Equity Derivatives Segment.
• Ensuring timely master maintenance in Test markets and production environment.
  Team mentoring and guidance
• Testing of software - Drafting test cases, performing functional testing, drafting process SOP and checklist, provide support in Member mock testing.
• Coordinating with CTCL Vendors and new Members for onboarding to Test environment.
  Supporting their queries related to development of integration with Exchange Equity Trading platform.
• Ensuring compliance towards Departmental daily checklist, operational policy and SOPs. Generating and timely submission of MIS to management and Regulators.
• Ensuring compliance towards all SEBI directives.
  Monitoring price bands and movement on other Stock Exchanges. Tracking websites of SEBI and other exchanges.

Preferred Profile: -

• Chartered Accountant / Post graduate in management from reputed university / CFA / MBA

Experience

• 8 - 12 years

Functional Competencies required

• Awareness of SEBI Master circular related to Stock Exchanges
• Proficient in understanding concepts related to Derivatives - Futures and Options Trade
• Experience of work related to Trading Operations / Risk Operations / Clearing Operations at Exchange or Stock Broker
• Experience in testing of software related to Trading, Risk Management
• Proficiency in working on Excel
