Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trade Marketing Manager to drive the success of our in-cinema advertising business in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies, managing relationships with trade partners, and coordinating with B2B platforms to enhance our brand presence and sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade Marketing Strategy Development:

    • Develop and implement national trade marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and sales across cinema networks.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align trade marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Agency Roadshow:

    • Organize and execute roadshows to promote our advertising solutions to key stakeholders and potential clients.
    • Ensure effective communication of our brand value proposition during these events.
  • Building DMs for Trade:

    • Create and distribute targeted direct marketing materials to trade partners, highlighting the benefits of in-cinema advertising.
    • Develop and maintain a database of trade contacts for regular communication.
  • Planning and Coordination with B2B Platforms:

    • Establish partnerships with B2B platforms for trade marketing initiatives.
    • Coordinate with these platforms to promote our brand and services through their channels.
  • Barter with Top Events:

    • Negotiate barter deals with prominent events to secure advertising opportunities in exchange for our services.
    • Ensure these partnerships enhance our brand visibility and reach.
  • Creative Support for Linkedin and Brand Solutions:

    • Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative advertising solutions that integrate with our trade marketing strategies.
    • Provide creative support to enhance brand engagement and customer experience.
  • Market Intelligence and Insights:

    • Conduct market research to stay updated on trends and competitor activities.
    • Analyze market data to refine trade marketing strategies and improve ROI.
  • Budget Management:

    • Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation across initiatives.
    • Track expenditures and provide regular budget status updates to senior management.
  • Inter-functional Coordination:

    • Ensure alignment with marketing, sales, and logistics teams to execute trade marketing plans seamlessly.
    • Communicate product, price, and pack changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Special Projects:

    • Develop and execute special projects such as sampling activities or promotional events to drive business growth.
    • Standardize training modules for sales teams and promoters.

Requirements:

  • Education:

    MBA in Sales/Marketing or relevant field. Graduates with significant industry experience may also be considered.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 3-6 years of experience in sales with at least 1-2 years in trade marketing. Experience in the advertising or media industry is preferred.
