• Educational Qualifications-

  BE/B TECH -Mechanical

• Field Experience:

  Shall have construction/field experience of administrating subcontracts and good knowledge of Subcontract terms and conditions of Contract of the Construction industry.

Job Responsibility:

• Reporting to Procurement/ Subcon Head /Regional Procurement head.
• Support for Project subcontracts Cost Estimation during proposal stage based on the Scope of work provided by Estimation team with required completion time.
• Knowledge of the Local Subcontractors and market. Knowledge includes EPC industries Subcontracting, However MEP based subcontracting knowledge will be given preference. Subcontracting shall be Pure ITC with supply of Ancillaries & Consumables. This can be Complete Package of Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning.
• Must have the knowledge of market rates for C class Goods” material which is required to complete ITC Job.
• Must have the knowledge of rate analysis for

  Departmental Estimates

  &

  support for Bottom-up costing

  before negotiation.
• Must have the ability to understand bank Guarantees / Security BG alongwith the complete Commercial conditions of Contracts & Contracts Terms & conditions (GCC and PCC/SCC)
• To ensure that all subcontracts associated with the projects are defined, awarded, planned, and efficiently executed in a systematic and organized manner complying with company subcontract procedures/

  SOP

  and as per the Project Subcontract Plan.
• Preparation of subcontract plan, review and updating on weekly basis
• Receipt of requisitions for Subcontracting, preparation of RFQs and floating enquiries
• Pre-qualification of Subcontractors including visits to their offices/sites to ascertain their capabilities and capacities.
• Receipt of bids and providing commercial clarifications and coordinating with project team for technical clearance, statutory compliances and final approval

• Evaluation of bids

  / Service Agreements/ Service orders/ Subcontracts
• Develop strategies and lead the commercial contracting negotiations for subcontract categories aligning to project requirements.
• Arranging Kick off meetings with subcontractor’s post award the Po’s.
• Follow ups for Mobilization of manpower at site

• Subcontract close outs-

  vendor performance evaluation- Dispute Resolution with Subcontractors taking the support of contracts and legal.

• Maintain database of Subcontractors & comply with statutory / ISO auditing systems.

• Change order processing, variation, and new item rate analysis etc.
• Payment Follow ups & Co-ordination with Execution and Accounts.
