Preparation of credit appraisal notes and in-principle approval presentations.
Coordination with business, legal, and risk teams for transaction execution, including structuring, term-sheet preparation, and compliance checks on pre-disbursement conditions.
Engagement with internal and external stakeholders to build sectoral and transaction-related knowledge.
Development of financial models and monitoring of key operating parameters across assigned sectors.
Continuous tracking of sectoral developments and trends relevant to portfolio companies or proposed transactions.
Analysis of financial statements and assessment of creditworthiness of large and mid-corporate clients.
Preparation of concise and comprehensive credit notes highlighting all critical aspects of the transaction.
Creation of business plans and financial projections using MS Excel.
Building and applying domain expertise in sectors under coverage.
Understanding and application of banking, lending, and regulatory requirements.
Conducting detailed research with strong attention to accuracy and data integrity.
Drafting of term sheets and reviewing transaction structure.
Identification of key drivers, risks, and issues in transactions; leading discussions with clients, LIEs, rating agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain clarity and enhance bankability.
Internal presentation of transactions to senior management, clearly articulating strengths, risks, and mitigants before committee approval.
Handling transactions in structured finance within a financial institution, bank, NBFC, credit rating agency, or consulting environment.
