Job Description

We are looking for Manager / Sr. Manager - HR for one of the leading Salon Brand

Designation: Manager / Sr. Manager - HR

Location: Mumbai

Exp: 7+ Yrs

Key responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition:

    Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing candidates through job portals and beauty schools, screening applicants, and maintaining a pipeline of qualified talent for various salon roles.

  • Onboarding and Offboarding:

    Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, handle all necessary documentation, and manage the exit process for departing employees, including final settlements and exit interviews.

  • Employee Relations:

    Act as a bridge between management and employees, addressing grievances, resolving conflicts through mediation, and conducting investigations when necessary.

  • Performance and Development:

    Oversee the performance appraisal system to drive high performance, assess training needs, and implement training programs to enhance employee skills.

  • Compliance and Legal:

    Ensure all HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies, manage HR records, and stay updated on all regulations related to employment, health, and safety.

  • Payroll and Benefits:

    Administer employee payroll and manage the benefits program.

  • HR Strategy and Reporting:

    Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the salon's business objectives and provide data-driven reports on HR metrics to management.

  • Health and Safety:

    Implement and oversee health, safety, and wellness initiatives for salon staff, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Employer Branding:

    Promote the salon as a preferred employer within the industry, often using social media and other platforms to attract talent.

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role.
  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR management systems and software.
  • People-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
