Manager / Senior Manager - Mechanical (on contract)

GIFTCL invites application for the position of Manager / Senior Manager - Mechanical (on contract). This is a contractual position for a period of 3 years. The remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and experience up to Rs. 15 Lakh per annum.

The candidate should have done B.E. / B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8+ years of experience in HVAC/MEPF Projects with experience in chillers, cooling tower, Pumping systems and Piping Network. The detailed job description is as under,

• Prepare project estimation & contractors scope of work.
• Monitoring site works in compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specification.
• Daily site supervision and coordination with contractor for site coordination, manpower engagement, material inspection, site progress review etc.
• Review of shop drawings, material data sheets, welding procedure specification factory test/acceptance reports.
• Monitoring project budgets, schedule, perform critical path analysis and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project execution.
• Review and certify contractor’s measurement sheets & billing related work.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments for onsite execution.
• Manage the team of engineers working on the project
• Maintain project related documents, material data sheet records, testing and commissioning reports, contractual communications, information for reporting management etc.
• Monitoring all site safety requirements

Competencies Required

• Software Competency: Auto Cad, MS Office, MS Projects.
• Behavioural Competency: Team Player, Interpersonal skill, Co-ordination with peer departments, strong writing & communication skills.
