Manager - Sales (HVAC)

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Engineer/Manager you will be responsible for identifying new business from the Architects and Consultants as well as developing long-term customer relationships while maximizing account penetration and customer retention.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizing key contacts to identify key consultants and architects in order to find out new business opportunity.
• Utilizing Account management process to identify key customers and to develop specific action plans to grow identified accounts.
• Responsible for meeting with Architects and consultants for getting the new business
• Consistently ascertains customer needs and current market opportunities. Assembles and coordinates acquisition team as needed for customers and projects.
• Converts leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.
• Develops multiple relationships with buying influences in the architects organization, including facility manager, project managers, project engineers, and purchasing.
• Gathers or validates preliminary information and performs facility walk-through to determine level of opportunity.
• Estimates project by analyzing and integrating equipment, controls, subconsultants, and services for each project using Linc business systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related discipline (BE Mechanical/Electrical)
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-7 years of solution sales and business development experience with a focus on Techno commercial HVAC, Chillers, VRV, VRF, Ducts etc.
• Must have a proven track record of developing and closing net new business
• Must have strong presentation skills and demonstrated experience pricing systems for customers
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products & Auto Cad.
