Job Title: R&D Manager – Special Projects
(MIL Grade Power Supplies – Power Electronics)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative R&D Manager – with hands-on design capabilities in MIL-Grade Power Supply Systems for applications related to MOD (Ministry of Defence), Armed Forces, and DRDO labs. The ideal candidate will be a part of the Design team in development of high-reliability power solutions compliant with military standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead R&D projects focused on the design and development of MIL-grade power supplies (AC-DC, DC-DC converters etc.).
• Design power electronics circuits meeting stringent military specifications .
• Technical support for the products delivered and to provide necessary support to the customer during QT and ATP
• Collaborate with customers (MOD, Armed Forces, DRDO) to define technical requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Maintain documentation as per defence project requirements (QA Plans, BOM, Test Reports, Design Documents).
• Stay updated on new technologies and suggest innovations relevant to defence-grade power systems.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• B.E./B.Tech/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing MIL-grade power supplies.
• Proven track record of executing power electronics projects for MOD/Armed Forces/DRDO.
• Experience with simulation and design tools .
• Strong understanding of MIL standards, reliability engineering, and environmental stress screening (ESS).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project timelines effectively.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in defence electronics industry or government projects.
• Familiarity with quality systems and certifications relevant to defence manufacturing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
