Job Description

You are urgently seeking a Manager - R&D position for a leading Textile Chemical Manufacturing Company with over 60 years of experience, located in Tarapur, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have a PhD in Organic Chemistry with 12-15 years of experience. The salary offered is in the range of 15 to 17 Lacs and is not a limiting factor. As a Manager - R&D, you will be responsible for overseeing the Research and Development activities in the company. Your role will involve managing a team of 5 to 7 Science Graduates or Post Graduates and ensuring the smooth functioning of the R&D Department. - Preferably from Fine chemicals, Personal & Health care, and Agro Chemicals Industry. - Thorough knowledge of various types of Chemical Reactions like Frediel Craft, Bromination, Sandmeyer, Nitration, Oxidation, Hydrogenation, etc. - Proficient in literature survey for organic synthesis using tools like Scifinder, NMR, and FTIR interpretation, documentation. - Experience in troubleshooting of Chemical processes, yield improvement, Quality improvement, Organic molecule synthesis design, Route of synthesis, etc. - Managerial skills with exposure to general management of R&D Department including material movement, procurement process, Quality parameters, etc. - Experience in SAP will be an added advantage. - PhD in Organic Chemistry - 12-15 years of experience in the relevant field,
