Manager, Project Planning

As a Manager, Project Planning at Vena Energy, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of renewable energy projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include establishing governance frameworks, overseeing project performance and budgets, managing risks, and optimizing resource allocation. Additionally, you will play a key role in stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, and influencing cross-functional teams. Driving continuous process improvement will be crucial for efficient and effective project delivery across the renewable energy portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement project management strategies aligning with the organization's renewable energy goals. - Set up and manage processes and governance for renewable energy projects, ensuring consistency and best practices. - Oversee the progress of multiple projects, track key performance indicators (KPIs), Capex Tracking against budget, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. - Identify and mitigate potential risks, develop risk management plans, and ensure timely issue resolution. - Maintain effective communication and relationships with stakeholders, internal teams, contractors, regulatory bodies, and investors. - Optimize resource allocation and utilization across projects. - Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices for enhanced project delivery efficiency. - Ensure project compliance with regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Prerequisites: - Graduate or postgraduate with an Engineering background. - Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in project planning and controlling, preferably 5-8 years in the renewable power generation industry. - PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications. - Proven experience in managing complex projects from planning to closure. - In-depth understanding of the renewable energy sector, including technologies, regulations, and market dynamics. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction. - Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop solutions. - Familiarity with project management software and tools like Primavera, MS Project, or P6.
