Manager - Project Planning

Role Objective

Mivan (Aluminium Formwork) technology

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed project execution plans, baseline schedules, and micro-level schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Prepare phase-wise, tower-wise, and floor-cycle schedules for Mivan-based construction.
• Define construction sequencing, methodologies, and cycle times specific to aluminium formwork systems.
  

Monitoring & Control

• Track project progress against baseline schedules and identify delays or variances.
• Conduct schedule variance, critical path, and impact analysis; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and milestone-based progress reports for management and clients.
  

Coordination & Interface Management

• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, QS, Procurement, Contracts, and Site Execution teams.
• Align planning schedules with procurement lead times, subcontractor mobilization, and resource availability.
• Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare dashboards, S-curves, cash flow forecasts, manpower histograms, and productivity reports.
• Maintain accurate planning data and documentation for audits and management reviews.
  

Risk & Recovery Planning

• Identify planning and execution risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare catch-up and recovery schedules in case of delays.
• Support value engineering and optimization initiatives.
  

Compliance & Best Practices

• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, planning standards, and safety norms.
• Implement best practices in planning for high-rise, repetitive Mivan construction.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in

  Mivan / Aluminium Formwork high-rise residential projects

  .
• Proficiency in

  MS Project,

  Excel, and planning dashboards.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work from

  project location

  and manage fast-track construction schedules.
• Leadership capability to guide junior planning engineers.
  

Experience Requirements

• B.Tech / BE Civil Engineering (Mandatory) and

  NICMAR qualification Preferred

• 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in

  Project Planning

  for high-rise residential or large real estate projects.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with

  Mivan technology

  projects.
• Exposure to large-scale, multi-tower residential developments is preferred.
