Job Description

The role is responsible for the overall planning and monitoring of projects, ensuring timely delivery through effective scheduling, resource allocation, productivity monitoring and stakeholder coordination. The position will also drive people management practices within the team, including performance appraisals, training adherence, attrition control and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and digitization.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

  • Develop, manage and monitor detailed project schedules with clear milestones and deliverables.
  • Track project progress and prepare catch-up plans to address delays and risks.
  • Monitor resource loading, productivity and cost parameters to ensure efficiency.

2.

  • Coordinate and follow up with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
  • Conduct and organize weekly/monthly review meetings to track progress and align priorities.

3.

  • Prepare MIS reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management reviews.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of project data for decision-making.

4.

  • Ensure adherence to the performance management and appraisal process and timelines for all team members.
  • Drive adherence to the defined training calendar and ensure team participation.
  • Control and reduce attrition in the team through effective engagement, coaching and development initiatives.

5.

  • Undertake and review process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support digitization efforts to enhance project planning and reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering, Management or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling and monitoring.
  • Prior experience in stakeholder coordination and people management preferred.
  • Exposure to digitization initiatives and process improvement tools will be an advantage.
